Ok, so sorry to all my followers, haven't posted nearly enough in the last week or so; life has been hectic, hectic, HECTIC! Tomorrow I shall be jetting off to Grecia for a week of sun & relaxation, much needed!

Today I stumbled upon this beaut: VIMTO ICE LOLLY. Double-ewe-tee-eff. I was quite excited as you can see by the magical look on my face. Amongst desperately trying to fit all my clothes under the 20kg luggage limit (damn you British Airways), playing tennis (wimbledon fever) and getting Ed Sheeran's album (LUSH-get it now), I have managed to get all my articles written and 'scheduled' for my absence, for all my lovely followers. I have a few trend articles and 'Lookbooker of the Week' coming up, so watch this space!

So I do a 'Lookbooker of the Week' feature. Each week I will choose a lookbooker who has caught my attention, not just by the amount of hypes they have received, but by how they have used fashion to showcase their unique personality. This week I have chosen Kat T. Kat has a cool, laid-back vibe to her style, very bohemian chic. I chose her because, despite being a self-confessed 'wallflower', she really expresses personality through her clothes and her philosophy that clothes can be your creative medium to show who you are to the World really relates to me, and probably alot of people.

"My secret is that I'm a complete wallflower...I use fashion to force myself out of my comfort zone and generate a more outgoing side of myself."

NAME: Kat T.
AGE: twenty
LOCATION: Massachusetts
MY STYLE IN 3 WORDS: strange, casual, quirky
FAVOURITE ITEM: my oversized cream open-knit sweater
I REALLY LOVE: my fiancée, my cat, and tea
I REALLY HATE: closed-mindedness
FASHION ADVICE: always ask someone for their opinion on an outfit -- and make sure they're not just nodding along with the stock 'looks great' response, either.

Kats blog & lookbook can be found here:

Today some very exciting news came to my attention.
Oh my god, I just peed.

So Helena is to become the new face of Marc Jacob's Fall Collection, one of his reference points being "insane asylums", very fitting.

Something else caught my attention today, again I peed:

Lookbookin good.

So here's my latest lookbook post. The shirt is the German designer Basler from a charity shop for just £4, awesome! Also, I am totally smitten with this green skirt from River Island; however there is a catch. Upon purchasing said item I slipped it straight on and happily skipped out of my house on my merry way, when, disaster struck. A gust of wind lifted my skirt almost over my head, exposing my spongebob squarepants underwear to some poor, unsuspecting passersby. Not my finest moment. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I warn you, they might not be the sexiest garment, but hell, at least I get to keep my dignity.

Through hardship to the stars

So heres one of my favourite charity shop finds for today, the white crop top! How much do you ask? Well a mere 200 of the queens finest pennies I say! Thats a bargain if I ever heard one! Also the skirt is actually a boob-chube, but shh dont tell anyone. The only drawback I find with charity shops is...I smell like granny. I cant exactly describe the scent, it just smells old. Dont fear, I have found the solution. Washing.
I know, I was shocked when I found out too.

I also picked up this super-cool nail polish thing.

Mind. Blown.

Just heard the Arctic Monkeys new album 'Suck it and See'. So far my favourite song is actually 'Suck it and See', its a bit nice. Heres a cheeky exert:

You're rarer than a can of dandelion and burdock,
And those other girls are just postmix lemonade.

I like it cos I also enjoy the fruity pop drink dandelion and burdock.

Well thats all for now kids, I have a hot date with my old friend cider. I will be kind and leave you with this golden nugget of wisdom:

 Per aspera ad astra.

You go back to her, and i go back to blonde.

Hola amigos!
When people are mean I find the only things that cheers me up is finding treasure and a hair change.

Currently listening to lots + lots of Cat Empire and the YeahYeahYeahs. Two bands everyone should have in their lives FOSHO! And also, Karen O is freakin awesome, dont you think?

Planning on going for a charity shop rifle tomorrow (wish me luck, ill post results) and maybe even a cheeky longboard session if the weather is good. North-West Britain can be kinda rainy.

Tutti Frutti

One of my favourite trend for this summer, fruit! Yes, our fruit friends have gone up in the world: from their humble market place beginnings to being spotted strutting its stuff around Paris and London. How did these simple creatures reach such dizzy heights? By being sexified* by the worlds top designers, thats how. See above Stella getting zesty and Prada going bananas. (I know this is horribly cheesy, but I couldn't help myself)

*not actually a word.

Don't have a designer budget? Fret not little ones!
The high street did good.

Lemon dress, Primark £9

Very Cherry, H! by Henry Holland @ Debenhams £28

I too could not resist the lure of pineapples wearing shades, River Island £19.99

Remember kids: when life gives you lemons, wear the motherfuckers. Delicious.

The Wizard of Oz

Hot new Australian designer Louise Hardcastle has become my new fashion love. Her use of simple, clean cut design with a clash of fierce brights, means her AW 11/12 collection (named "My lean, unripened heart") is perfect for the Summer-Autumn transition, and of course brightening up those dull november days I am not exactly excited for. The winning mix of  British sophistication and Aussie 'chilled out' vibe, means Louise Hardcastle is set for fashion greatness. Watch this space.

Her full AW 11/12 can be found on her blog:

I want to be you.

A freakin hot skatergirl.
I recently started longboarding as I was looking for something new to learn over summer and also to fill the hole in my heart after winter finished along with the ski/board season.
So far, its going pretty ass will never be the same again.

Have you ever told a lie, that was truth more than truth, because truth it had lied.

Vanity is not a sin.

What I wore today.
Im feeling the tie-dye today, had to take mini baby steps cos the dress was so tight around the ankles. Rather stressful.

Lets go get lost

First post

Tigers are very ferocious creatures and thats why i like them.
This blog will be jam-packed with things i like and notice on a day-to-day basis; i used to just jot them down in a notepad but that isnt very 21st century of me and not very cool.
My layout right now is PANTS. Anyone who could advise me on how to make it look any less pants would be rewarded with kind utterances.
